Canyonlands
Last night the three of us slept under the stars at the campground, though left near dawn so to get an early start. After eating breakfast over the Colorado River, I headed to nearby Canyonlands National Park to hike for the day. These were some beautiful areas, though of course a bit hot and dry. I did several of the hikes including the Upheaval Dome Trail, White Rim Trail, and most of the overlooks before eventually heading out. I spend a few hours there before heading off the the Needles District of Canyonlands NP and checking out some of the views and trails over there, including the Cave Spring trail that required the use of some ladders, but had fine vistas of the area.

I do a fair amount of traveling (20 countries in the past 15 months) but haven't updated this personal blog in a while since I've been gone much of the summer. Some of my pictures can be found at PerihelionPhotography.com though most can be found at facebook.com/mikeblitch
